- Last year, there were so many things that I should have done. Among them, important issues were Korea became the guest nation for American Shoulder & Elbow Society (ASES) and Turkish Shoulder and Elbow Society (TSES) in 2020. It was great honor for the Korean Society.

The 29th Annual International Congress of Korean Shoulder and Elbow Society (KSES) was successfully held over two days on March 26th and 27th. As the COVID-19 is not still calming down, KSES held online congress in 2021, following the 28th Annual Online Congress held on November 7, 2020. President Joo-Han Oh led the meeting, and many prominent scholars (Anthony A. Romeo, Hiroyasu Ikegami, Nobuyuki Yamamoto, Teruhisa Mihata, Thay Q. Lee, William J. Mallon) gave lectures through videos. Furthermore, despite the large time difference, invited scholars and KSES members held real-time discussions via online discussion system. They say that a half of the fun of traveling comes from planning and waiting for travel and that the other comes from memorizing and organizing your photo album. At this time when going overseas has become extremely difficult due to COVID 19, I would like to remember the six-week training of KSES Travelling Fellow in the fall of 2019 reminiscing on how happy the old days were and wishing that ordinary time like before will come soon.
