My Precious Journey at the best biomechanics laboratory: OBL More
When I first arrived in the United States, I was overwhelmed with worry. The culture was vastly different from what I was used to, and I still had a language barrier to overcome. Despite having lived in New Zealand for three years as a child, I was still nervous and scared about studying, going into the laboratory, and writing papers in English. Also, I had never experienced working and communicating with people from a different culture before, and it filled me with a sense of trepidation. To add to my worries, I had heard that Professor Thay Q Lee was a strict and thorough professor when working, and that many world-famous papers had been conducted in the OBL. The prospect of adapting and withstanding the high expectations was daunting.

My visit to AAOS 2023 Annual Meeting and ASES Specialty Day More
I was deeply moved to visit AAOS 2023 Annual Meeting and ASES Specialty Day held in Las Vegas for the first time in five years. Even though one podium and one poster were adopted in 2020, it was regrettable that the conference was canceled due to COVID-19, and it was new because it was the first overseas conference to go after the travel regulations due to COVID-19 were lifted.

Clinics in Shoulder and Elbow (CiSE) is preparing for its next leap forward. More

The official scholarly publication of the Korean Shoulder and Elbow Society (KSES), Clinics in Shoulder and Elbow (CiSE), has seen significant advancements in recent years. In December 2020, CiSE achieved the prestigious status of being listed on PubMed Central (PMC), and the yearly citation count has quadrupled. The annual citation count increased from 27 in 2018 to 324 in 2022, with 84 citations already in the first three months of 2023, and the distribution of publications in 2022 was 29% domestic and 71% international, amounting to 22 and 74 papers, respectively. The journal is gearing up to strive for SCOPUS listing and is laying out a long-term vision to vie with top-tier international academic journals. Finally, CiSE is aiming to become a Science Citation Index level journal, and is currently planning to expand both the quality and quantity of its content by transitioning from quarterly to bimonthly publication. We kindly encourage the engagement of shoulder and elbow surgeons worldwide with our broad range of compelling articles. CiSE is keenly awaiting your exceptional research. We invite you to share your groundbreaking studies through CiSE.
