I would like to extend a warm welcome to the KSES General Assembly!
Hello everyone, my name is Prof. KC Noh (Kyu-Cheol). I am the current president of the Korean Shoulder and Elbow Society
I was inaugurated as the president of the Korean Shoulder and Elbow Society at the end of April last year, and looking back on the past year, I can say that during my tenure, I have attempted several projects for the development of the KSES, and some of them have been successful.

I am greatly honored to select as the 2024 KSES-SECEC traveling fellow, and I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the president, executives, and members of the KSES for this distinction. Alongside me, Dr. Yamakado Kotaro, Fukui hospital, Japan, was also selected.
Embarking on the journey as the traveling fellow entailed a 5-week itinerary spanning from Sep 4, 2024 to Oct 5, 2024. This itinerary included visits to 8 hospitals of 5 countries: France, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, UK.

As I write this, I would first like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the members of the Korean Shoulder and Elbow Society who have diligently prepared for and participated in this meaningful event. This year's academic conference marks the first offline event hosted by the Gyeonggi-Incheon-Gangwon Regional Assembly since the Autumn Congress of 2020, which was held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Thanks to the enthusiastic interest and support of our members, this conference has concluded successfully and meaningfully.

The Korean Shoulder and Elbow Society (KSES) has a unique role called the "Travel Coordinator." Around 30 years ago, KSES was a relatively small society in Asia, with only a few members attending international conferences. Due to this small number, a culture of looking out for one another at such events developed, which eventually led to the creation of the Travel Coordinator role.
The primary responsibilities of this position include organizing “trips” with our society members before and after the conference and preparing the "Korean Night" feast during the conference, where participants from Korea can gather and enjoy a meal together.

My visit to the 51st Annual Meeting of Japan Shoulder Society in Kyoto

The 51st JSS meeting was held at Kyoto international conference center for 3 days from 24th to 26th. October on the Thema of “Cutting edge science for shoulder”. Kyoto is historical city and one of the best tour place in Japan like Kyung-ju in Korea, especially in autumn season.
I was invited as a guest speaker by Pf. Imai, Congress president for presenting 3 subject of shoulder arthroplasty. I and Korean guest attended at the presidential dinner at 24th held in Prince Kyoto Takaragaike hotel, and overseas guest dinner on 25th, and presented at the international symposium at 26thon October.

We cordially invite you to the 32nd Annual International Congress of the Korean Shoulder and Elbow Society (KSES) on March 28th–29th, 2025 in the beautiful city of Seoul.
KSES has continuously developed since its establishment in 1993, currently has 1,713 members, and is in a leading position as the best society recognized by others among the various sub-specialty societies of the Korean Orthopedic Association. Our academic journal, Clinics in Shoulder and Elbow (CiSE), bore fruit when it was listed on international index sites such as SCOPUS and Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) thanks to the efforts of renowned editors, both domestic and international. CiSE has grown into a journal to which many foreign researchers, as well as domestic researchers, submit.
